In the photographic series Perseids, Perseus the female form embodies a cosmic voyager who explodes into the cosmos, untouched by pain or insignificance.She is glory and light, wisdom and mystery—a distillation of cosmic beauty.The water, in this context, transcends its earthly form, serving as both a mirror of the cosmos and a portal to a greater dimension.The epiphany atomizes us into dust, transforming us to become part of his celestial wake.Perseid is simultaneously young and old; she is one and he is all. This duality is reflected in the series, which features different female/male figures of various ages, each embodying the singular, eternal figure.
